What's The Question
In this QQI Starter you will be given an answer, and you must come up with a question to give that answer.
Ideas for Teachers
This activity is a good starter to get students thinking. They are challenged to think of a question that results in the given answer. The answer can be a number, or a mathematical word from different areas of maths. You want students to come up with as many as they can, or a really original question. You might want to limit the scope of the questions based on the topic you are currently studying, for example, by specifying the question must relate to areas of shapes or even manipulation of surds!
