Quadratic Graphs Activity
This activity is a great way to practice finding the equation of a quadratic from the graph. You can remind yourself how to do this with this video.
Choose which type of question you want to practice (Roots, Vertex or Axis of Symmetry) and whether to use the y-intercept as the extra point (if not a random point on the graph will be displayed).
Then generate a new graph. Can you work out the equation of the function?
For an extra challenge, try to write the function in the form y = ax^2 + bx + c.
When ready to check your answer, simply check the "Show Equation" box to reveal the equations.
