Translation Challenge
The blue shape has been translated by the red vector to create the green shape.
Can you work out the vector needed to create each purple shape? Use the pen tool to write the vectors (remember to use the vertical brackets, not the horizontal ones that Autograph uses).
Select a red point, and move it to place the green shape over each of the purple shapes.
In each case does the vector match the vector you wrote?
For each translation, describe the transformation fully.
Now draw a new vector on the graph. Move one of the purple shapes to where the blue shape will end up when translated by this vector. Change the red vector to check if you are correct.
